The sixth edition of Chau Jhumur Utsav was held by the local artists of Purulia at Bamnia, Jhalda II from December 22 – 28, 2017. Everyday 5 Chau teams performed dance and 1 Jhumur team performed Jhumur songs in the festivals. The festival is attended by local people as well as urban visitors from Kolkata and adjacent towns.
